auffallend schöne farbe; sehr komplexes aber harmonisches nasenbild; herbere nuancen im vordergrund: leder, bitterschokolade; fleischsaft; im hintergrund sehr schöne blaubeertöne; für 10 euro sehr viel wein!
Parker schreibt:The 2009 Cotes du Rhone-Villages Cairanne Cuvee Maximilian (50% Grenache, 35% Mourvedre, and 15% Syrah) displays the most saturated color of these wines (deep ruby/purple) as well as ample blackberry, fresh mushroom, new saddle leather, and meat juice-like aromas. The complex aromatics are followed by a full-bodied, powerful, well-delineated Cairanne with plenty of tannin and depth. It is capable of lasting 7-8 years. Readers may recall that this estate turned out terrific 2007s, and their bevy of impressive 2009s comes close to matching that success.
